Indian Destination Wedding Videographer
Cinematic wedding films for Indian Celebrations across Europe and beyond
Named Best International Wedding Filmmaker and Best Wedding Film in Europe

BESPOKE ∞ INTENTIONAL ∞ AUTHENTIC
Indian weddings unfold over several days.
They move through different spaces, different energies, from the intimacy of early moments to the intensity of shared celebration. Each day carries its own rhythm, its own weight, its own atmosphere.
To film a multi-day wedding like this is not only about being present and capturing moments, but about understanding how all these moments connect. What builds, what returns, what stays.
I’m Kostas, the filmmaker behind Cinema of Poetry, an award-winning wedding videographer based in Greece and working in Europe and internationally.
I document Indian destination weddings with a cinematic, story-driven approach, creating films that capture both the scale of the celebration and its deeper meaning.
Indian Weddings on Film
Each Indian wedding carries its own energy defined by the people, the setting, and the way traditions unfold across days.
Below is a selection of Indian and Sikh wedding celebrations filmed across different locations, each approached with its own narrative structure and sensitivity to the moment.

A Celebration that Unfolds Over Time
Indian weddings are experienced in layers.
A Sangeet carries a different energy than a ceremony. A Haldi feels different from a reception. The Anand Karaj ceremony reflects a deeper spiritual union of two individuals in Sikh Weddings.
Mornings unfold slowly, while evenings gather intensity and movement.
What matters is not only what happens within each part of the celebration, but how these moments relate to one another.
A gesture, a glance, a piece of music, something introduced early can return later with a different meaning. These subtle connections are what shape the emotional continuity of a wedding.
Working across multiple days allows space to observe this rhythm, and to build a film that reflects it.

A Cinematic Approach to Indian Wedding Storytelling
There is always more happening than what is immediately visible.
A wedding can be filmed as a sequence of events, or shaped into something that carries intention.
My work is rooted in the second approach.
Not to reconstruct the day, but to understand it. To listen first, and then to give form to what is already there.
For some couples, this may involve working with structure, voice, or recurring themes. For others, the approach remains more observational. The form adapts, but the intention remains the same, to create a film that feels personal, coherent, and lasting.

A Calm, Unobtrusive Filmmaking Approach
No two Indian weddings are the same.
Each family brings its own traditions. Each couple carries a different story. What truly matters is rarely identical from one celebration to another.
This is why my approach is never based on a template.
Rather than following a fixed structure, I take the time to understand what is meaningful for each couple: the people, the dynamics, the moments that hold weight beyond what is visible.
Some weddings call for a strong narrative structure. Others unfold more quietly. Some are defined by ritual, others by personal expression.
This attention to meaning is what shapes the film.
It is also why couples choose to bring me to different destinations, not simply to document their wedding, but to create something that reflects who they are.

Indian Destination Wedding Videographer Investment & Collections
Indian Weddings often unfold over several days, across multiple locations, with a unique rhythm that requires both presence and flexibility.
My Indian Destination Wedding Videography Collections are bespoke, designed individually to reflect this structure, combining different types of films depending on the scale and needs of each celebration.
Videography Collections typically include a combination of:
- a Short Film: a concise and emotional narrative (5–7 minutes),
- a Feature Film: a more complete and immersive storytelling of the wedding (15–20 minutes),
- a Social Media Reel (30–60 seconds).
In addition, couples may choose to include:
- Speeches Film
- Ceremony Film
- Haldi Film
- Sangeet Film
- Specific Dances Film

Each element can be combined into a bespoke collection, depending on what feels most relevant to the celebration. In certain cases, additional options such as next-day or even same-day edits can also be discussed. However, my primary focus remains on crafting films with depth and longevity.
Every wedding is different, and each collaboration begins with a conversation.
