It's such a beautiful feeling

So grab your gear
let's get outta here
Let's go fishing

Early October on the Amalfi Coast still carries the warmth of summer, and Ravello was glowing as guests arrived from the United States for a three-day Palazzo Avino wedding celebration overlooking the Mediterranean.
Sarah and Brendan envisioned something intimate yet vibrant, a wedding that would feel immersive rather than contained to a single day. Ravello, with its panoramic terraces and timeless piazza, became the perfect setting.
The weekend unfolded gradually: first through shared tables, then through music and sea, and finally through vows beneath the vaulted ceiling of the Duomo di Ravello.

The celebrations began with a welcome dinner at Palazzo della Marra, where long tables dressed in red square patterns were layered with small Italian tomatoes, rustic pasta details, and local delicacies. Spritz flowed easily as live guitar and mandolin music filled the evening air.
Sarah’s father opened the weekend with a speech welcoming everyone to Ravello, setting the emotional tone before the festivities truly began. It was the first moment where American warmth met Italian atmosphere.
Guests who had traveled across the ocean were no longer visitors; they were part of something unfolding together.

The following day, the celebration moved to the sea.
From Amalfi to Positano, with a stop at the Archipelago of Li Galli, music played across the boat deck as guests danced, laughed, and dove into the deep blue water. What could have been a simple excursion became a bonding ritual between families, Sarah’s South American heritage blending effortlessly with Brendan’s American roots.
The Amalfi coastline provided its iconic backdrop, but it was the energy on board that defined the day. Dancing, sun, saltwater, and spontaneous joy.
By the time everyone returned to Ravello, the wedding already felt alive.

On the wedding day, preparations took place at Palazzo Avino before guests walked together through the village toward the Duomo di Ravello.
The ceremony was Catholic, meaningful to Brendan’s religious background, yet the atmosphere remained light and joyful. As Sarah walked down the aisle, nerves gave way to laughter. At the altar, hands held tightly, the couple exchanged smiles and quiet giggles before exchanging vows.
When they exited into the piazza, the square briefly transformed into their own celebration stage before everyone returned to Palazzo Avino for cocktails overlooking the coastline.

As the sun softened behind the hills, the terrace of Palazzo Avino transitioned into an elegant candlelit reception. Tables appeared to glow against the evening sky, the panoramic view stretching endlessly beyond.
The dinner unfolded in rhythm, veal carpaccio, sea bass, Italian wine, before music slowly built in tempo. What began with classic Italian tunes transformed into a full celebration once the saxophonist and percussionist joined the DJ.
During their first dance to “Sara Smile,” white napkins filled the air as guests waved them wildly in celebration. It was one of those rare moments where elegance dissolves into pure joy.
American energy. Italian elegance. One seamless movement.

Even after the formal dinner ended, the night continued back at Palazzo della Marra. Heels were swapped for comfort, jackets loosened, and the dance floor refused to empty.
Despite being under eighty guests, the atmosphere felt expansive, a celebration driven not by size, but by connection.
By the end of the third day, Ravello no longer felt like a destination. It felt like a shared memory.

Perched high above the Amalfi Coast, Palazzo Avino offers one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in Ravello. Its historic pink façade, terraced gardens, and refined hospitality make it a natural setting for couples seeking elegance without losing intimacy.
For Sarah and Brendan, it became more than a venue; it was the thread connecting each chapter of their celebration. From morning preparations overlooking the sea, to sunset cocktails on the terrace, to a candlelit reception that glowed against the coastline, Palazzo Avino framed the entire experience with quiet grandeur.
Ravello carries a particular rhythm, slower, elevated, more removed from the energy of the coast below. Palazzo Avino reflects that character as well as any venue on the hill; it offers perspective as much as panoramic views. Celebrations here unfold between sky and sea, where elegance feels effortless and intimacy feels amplified. In Ravello, time slows just enough for people to truly be present with one another, and that presence is what ultimately shapes the story.
